This guide is for teachers who gained access to Brilliant for Educators before the 2024 school year. We've made significant updates to how teachers manage their Brilliant classrooms. This guide will help you understand the key changes and transition to the new platform.

New Dedicated Educator Portal

The biggest change is the migration of all educators' tools from the Classroom tab on brilliant.org to our new dedicated educator platform.

<aside> Teachers now manage all classroom activities at educator.brilliant.org, we recommend book marking this site! Your account has been migrated, and all of your classrooms and students are already on the new portal. Your students can continue using Brilliant without any action required from you.

Critical Update❗

You now have two separate accounts:

• Educator account at educator.brilliant.org for classroom management
• Learner account at brilliant.org for viewing lessons

New Log-in Process

To access the Educator portal:

• Go to educator.brilliant.org
• Click Educator Portal Login
  • Choose to log in via email or Google
    • If you log in via email, simply enter your email address and then check your inbox for a sign-in link.
    • No password is needed for the Educator account!

To view lessons and courses on Brilliant, continue to log in to brilliant.org as usual.

Updated Progress Monitoring

We've enhanced Progress Monitoring based on your feedback! Read all of the details here. Highlights include:

• Students listed in alphabetical order.
• Ability to view progress for any date range or particular course.
• Ability to view all student progress in all courses, not only from ‘assigned’ courses*.*
• Overall improvements in style and layout.
